Privacy Policy

1. Scope and operator

This Privacy Policy applies to the Mahjong Ease mobile application (bundle/application identifier com.nixlight.mahjongsolitaire) and this Mahjong Ease website. Mahjong Ease is provided by NIXLIGHT TECHNOLOGY LIMITED ("Nixlight," "we," "us," or "our").

This policy explains what information is processed, why it is processed, the service providers involved, and the choices available to you.

2. Information stored on your device

Mahjong Ease stores the information needed to run and restore the game locally on your device. This may include:

• the current deal number, board state, moves, score, elapsed play time, and undo state;
• opened deals, completed deals, auto-complete unlocks, and local statistics;
• coin balance, rewarded-ad claim records, and locally cached Premium status; and
• language, sound, music, haptics, animation, and table appearance preferences.

We do not operate a Mahjong Ease account system or cloud game-save service. The local game data above is not uploaded to Nixlight servers. It remains on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app, subject to device backups controlled by your operating system or platform account.

3. Optional rewarded advertising

Mahjong Ease offers voluntary rewarded ads that you may choose to watch in exchange for in-app coins. Rewarded ads do not appear automatically during a game. The app uses Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP).

Depending on your device, region, consent choices, and Google's ad-serving mode, Google and its advertising partners may process device or advertising identifiers, IP address and approximate location derived from it, ad interactions, consent signals, diagnostics, fraud-prevention information, and related technical data. This information may be used to deliver, measure, secure, and improve advertising, and for personalized advertising only where permitted and consented to.

Where required, the app displays a consent message and provides an in-app entry for managing advertising privacy choices. On iOS, the operating system may also ask for permission under App Tracking Transparency. You can change that permission in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.

4. Premium Pass purchases

Mahjong Ease offers an optional one-time Premium Pass. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

RevenueCat helps validate purchases, maintain entitlement status, and restore the Premium Pass. For those purposes, RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier, device and operating-system information, app version, purchase history, Apple receipt or Google purchase token, entitlement state, and related request information such as IP address.

5. Website and support communications

Website

This website does not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, user accounts, or contact forms. The hosting provider may process ordinary server log information—such as IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp, and security events—to deliver and protect the site.

Support

If you contact us by email, we receive the email address, name, message, attachments, and any other information you choose to provide. We use that information to answer your request, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and keep records where reasonably necessary.

6. How information is used and shared

Information is processed only as needed to:

• operate, restore, secure, and troubleshoot Mahjong Ease;
• deliver optional rewarded ads and record earned coin rewards;
• process, validate, and restore the Premium Pass;
• honor consent and privacy choices;
• respond to support requests; and
• comply with legal obligations and protect users, Nixlight, and our services.

We do not sell information that you provide directly to us. Information may be processed by Google, Apple, RevenueCat, hosting providers, email providers, and other vendors acting for the purposes described above. These providers may process information in countries other than your own and apply their own privacy terms and safeguards.

7. Retention and deletion

• Local game data: retained on your device until you clear app data or uninstall Mahjong Ease.
• Purchase records: retained by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat according to their policies and as needed for purchase restoration, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.
• Advertising data: retained by Google and its partners according to their policies and your consent choices.
• Support email: retained only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain support records, prevent abuse, or satisfy legal requirements.
• Website logs: retained by the hosting provider according to its security and retention practices.

To remove local progress, clear Mahjong Ease's app data or uninstall the app. Purchase history held by an app store cannot be erased from the app itself. For information held directly by Nixlight through support, email us using the address below. We may need enough information to locate and verify the request.

8. Your choices and rights

• You decide whether to request and watch a rewarded ad.
• You may manage applicable ad consent choices from the in-app Ad privacy entry.
• You may change platform permissions, including iOS tracking permission, in device settings.
• You may clear local app data or uninstall the app to delete locally stored progress.
• You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information held directly by Nixlight, subject to applicable law and necessary exceptions.

Privacy rights vary by location. We will respond to verified requests in accordance with applicable law. For data controlled independently by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or another provider, please use that provider's privacy controls or contact channel.

9. Children

Mahjong Ease is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information directly to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

10. Security and policy changes

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information and services involved. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy when Mahjong Ease, our providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or through the applicable store.
